Concertina Coil

Concertina coils are made by clipping razor barbed tape around the circumference to form a helix.
Our concertina coils provide better security than other wire fences due to the quality of raw materials used. We use Tata Kosh Steel Sheet to make our razor barb tape which is clipped onto Usha Martin high tensile spring steel wire, that guarantees better strength and durability.
This fence provides a visual deterrent and causes severe injury on attempted trespass or theft.
International quality standards under which we produce:
ASTM F 1910: Standard specification for obstacle blades.
ASTM 764: Standard specification for high-strength steel wire with spring behavior, high shear strength, like the soul of the concertina.
ASTM A 176 (2009): Standard specification for stainless steel and its conditions of resistance to high temperatures.
ASTM F 1379: Standard specification for blade tapes.

Concertina Coil Integrated Systems
Motion detection systems and concertina coils serve complementary roles in security. While motion detection provides real-time electronic surveillance and alerts, concertina coils offer a formidable physical barrier and deterrent. Together, they create a layered, highly effective approach to safeguarding assets and securing restricted areas.
BSMW, in collaboration with DRSTA, delivers an integrated motion-sensor cum concertina coil security solution.
Faqs About concertina wire products
What is a concertina fence?
A concertina fence is a type of high-security barrier made from coiled razor wire or barbed tape wire. It expands like a concertina and forms a strong, sharp obstacle designed to deter intruders.
Why is concertina wire fencing effective for security purposes?
Concertina wire forms sharp, tightly spaced coils that are very difficult to cut or climb over. This makes it a strong physical barrier as well as a psychological deterrent for securing perimeters.
Why is TATA KOSH steel used for BSMW Concertina wire fences?
TATA KOSH steel offers high tensile strength and consistent quality, making it ideal for durable, high-performance concertina fences that withstand tough conditions.
